Presentation by Tom Ryan: Washing Other’s Feet

Every Christian knows the mandate that Jesus gave when he gathered with his friends on the night before he died: first he took bread… and then a cup of wine… and said. “Do this in memory of me.”  We got it and do it.  Bur there was another mandate given on the same occasion, before they sat down to eat.  He got up, tied a towel around his waist, and washed their feet, added: “What I have done for you, you must also do.”  Did we “get” that one?
