Charismatic Prayer (October 4th & 18th)
Our Group meets on Wednesday Nights, usually twice a month, always in the Holy Spirit Chapel, from 6:00-8:00pm. We share time in worship, song and praise together, and discuss various scripture passages and topics that have powerfully moved us. This month we’ll meet on October 4th & 18th. Prayer of Heart and Body (Mondays in October)
Join us for meditation and yoga in a Christian context to help you enter into the Fall Season relaxed and centered. Each session culminates in movement to music, engaging with a variety of postures that give bodily expression to song-prayers. This is followed by a period of quiet sitting in centering prayer.

RCIA Inquiry Meetings (Wednesdays in October)
If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a Catholic, we will be having Inquiry sessions on Wednesday evenings though October. RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is the formational process for those who wish to become Catholic.

Family Retreat (October 7th-9th)
Save the date for the annual Paulist Center Family Retreat over Columbus Day Weekend, October 7-9, at the Craigville Retreat Center on Cape Cod. We especially welcome those who have never attended the retreat before, and/or those who are new to the Paulist Center, to consider joining us for this weekend of reflection, sharing, and spiritual growth. Community Discussion (October 15th)
On Sunday, October 15th the LGBTQ Community and Young Adult Ministry will be teaming up to host a community book discussion open to the entire Paulist Center community on Fr. James Martin’s new book Building a Bridge: How the Catholic Church and the LGBT Community Can Enter into a Relationship of Respect, Compassion and Sensitivity. The conversation will be held after the 6pm Mass in the Auditorium. You do NOT have to have read the book to attend!
40+ Group Monthly Dinner (October 21st)
Looking to build community at the Paulist Center? All those ages 40+ are inviting to join out group in monthly dinners after Mass and occasional social activities. Book Discussion: Tears we Cannot Stop (October 24th)
The Adult Education Committee and the Paulist Center Rolling Book Club are sponsoring a discussion of Tears we Cannot Stop by Michael Eric Dyson led by community member Carol Mitchell on Tuesday, October 24th at 7pm in the Library, This is an excellent opportunity to examine this challenging long-term best seller with other community members. Prayer Outside the Box (October 25th)
The apostle Paul counseled the followers of Jesus to “pray in all circumstances.” Easier said than done, right? We will look at what makes for prayer, and then talk about how we can cultivate
those attitudes of heart and mind anywhere and everywhere. Got any trade secrets to share? Bring ’em! We’ll see how they compare with the methods we uncover in the Christian treasure chest.
