Dear Friends on the Journey,
The peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, be with you.
My missive this week is primarily to invite all of you to worship, virtually, with us for the Liturgies of the Triduum – Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Saturday’s Easter Vigil:
Holy Thursday, 7 PM:
Holy Thursday Service at 7pm-

Good Friday, 3 PM:

Holy Saturday, Easter Vigil, 8 PM:

In addition, Susan Rutkowski and Patty Simpson have assembled various responses to Jesus’ Seven Last Words, Good Friday, 12N: Join them in prayer by clicking on this GoogleMeet link (or call in at +1 440-462-3655 PIN: 455 365 547#) at the time of the service. Please remember to mute your microphone during the entirety of the service! Even if you are not actively speaking, the background noise from multiple devices greatly affects the sound quality.
Our Young Adult Ministry has also put together a Meditative Stations of the Cross for Good Friday at
7 PM. More information can be found in the Young Adult Newsletter. If you are not a young adult subscribed to the young adult newsletter, please email Kristin for the meeting link!
While there is no Easter Sunday Mass (the Vigil is the premiere Easter Liturgy of Holy Week, and we hope that the Paulist Center Community will join at that time), on Easter Sunday Morning the Paulist Center Families will celebrate the Liturgy of the Word at 10 am. All are welcomed to this gathering through this zoom link, or through calling in.

In addition, you may wish to see Busted Halo’s “Holy Week in Three Minutes” (Busted Halo is
the Paulist Fathers’ outreach to those on the margins of our Church):
Well, what can I do in lieu of Sunday Mass?
1. Consult the Paulist Fathers’ omnibus website page paulist.org/WatchMass
2. The publishers of Give Us This Day, with its meditations and Sunday and Weekday Scripture readings, is a wonderful resource: To support our community’s prayer, Give Us This Day has made available at no charge a digital file of our periodical, which includes daily Mass texts. Visit giveusthisday.org and select “Digital” in the upper right of the screen. While it is not a replacement for community worship, this resource will support you during this challenging time. Please share this resource with friends and family.
I conclude with the wise words of St. Teresa of Avila:
Nothing can trouble,
nothing can frighten.
Those who seek God shall
never go wanting.
Nothing can trouble,
nothing can frighten.
God alone fills us.
And let us pray for/with one another.
Michael
